A couple weeks ago I was at the most epic wedding reception ever been to. Now, I've been to a lot of wedding receptions, and usually the way that it goes is I know a bride or I know a groom or I know the parents of the bride or groom and maybe a few other people. Unless it's a family wedding. But most of the time I go, I know two, three people, and then it's like, okay, let's get a snack, and you kind of stand there, and before you know it, you're heading out the door. This wedding was epic because of the guests. There were so many amazing guests. There were leaders, there were famous, well-known people in the community here in Utah. And honestly, I felt a little bit out of place, but there was so much energy in that wedding because we were waiting to see who would come in next or who was there and that we hadn't seen yet. And people were forming lines around certain people to talk to that person next or to introduce themselves to that person next. And I felt really small. It was, it was not a small like, I don't want to be here, but it was like, wow, this is incredible. But you know what? At the end of the day, no one's gonna go home and say, Well, today I met John Kirkman, and you know, hey, check that box off. Now, that's not the point of the story, but I had this thought as I was standing there, as I was looking around at these well-known people. And the thought went something like this You know, when Jesus comes again, he compares the second coming to a wedding reception, and he compares himself to the groom, and he says, You're the bride. And all of a sudden I realized that when the second coming comes and Jesus walks through that door of the wedding reception, he's gonna be looking for me, his bride. And he's gonna be looking for you because to him, we are the most important person.

And I oh, I love that thought that when he comes again, he's gonna be right, where my boy, John Maryland Kirkman. I love that kid. I want to meet him. And I'm just gonna tell you right now, I'm cutting the line and I'm first in line to meet the savior.
